Recently, Doublestar Cambodia Tire Factory officially laid its foundation in Kratie Province. In order to meet the increasing demands of the overseas market, Doublestar and UBE DEVELOPMENT Co.Ltd. jointly established Doublestar (Cambodia) factory with an annual production capacity of 8.5 million high-performance radial tires (including 7 million PCR tires and 1.5 million TBR tires). The factory covers an area of 400,000 square meters with a total investment of approximately 210 million US dollars. The Premier of Kratie Province, Mr. Chai Yongsen, Chairman of Doublestar Group, Mr. Zhang Qirong, Chairman of Zhongqi Group, the government leaders and Cambodian partners attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

    Doublestar will make full benefit of scale economy to improve the industrial competitiveness in the global tire market, especially in European, American and ASEAN regions. At the same time, the new production line uses the advanced equipment, which can mostly reduce the production loss, improve the efficiency, save costs and improve the manufacturing technique, achieving comprehensive and high-quality development.
