On July 20, the "Hadj Larbi Industry" tire factory, jointly invested by Hardj Larbi Algeria Tire Factory Cooperation and Doublestar tire, was laid the foundation stone in Oran City, Oran Province, Algeria, in the presence of many senior officials including the chairman of the Algerian Investment Authority and the governor of Oran Province, as well as Mr. Dilmi, Chairman of Sarl Hadj Larbi Pneumatique, the largest tire distributor in Algeria, and Mr. Chai Yongsen, Chairman of Doublestar Group.

With an initial investment of $250 million, the "Hadj Larbi Industry" tire factory will adopt Doublestar's advanced manufacturing techniques and its globally leading intelligent equipment. The production capacity will be six million PCR tires and one million TBR tires. This factory will become the latest tire manufacturing base in Algeria and even North Africa, and provide the most comprehensive product range and excellent quality tires for local and Central African and European markets.​

Mr. Dilmi said that Doublestar is a globally renowned tire enterprise. Sarl Hadj Larbi and Doublestar have always maintained a deep friendship and a good cooperative relationship. The cooperation of building the tire factory will effectively promote the improvement of the industrialization in Algeria and provide high-quality tire products for local users.​

Mr. Chai Yongsen said Sarl Hadj Larbi is the biggest tire distributor in Algeria and has had a friendship and cooperation with Doublestar for nearly 20 years. This factory will surely further deepen the friendship between Doublestar and Sarl Hadj Larbi, as well as the people of China and Algeria, and support the local economic development.

In 2008, Doublestar fully transformed into the tire industry. In 2016, it built the world's first full-process "Industry 4.0" intelligent tire factory. Currently, Doublestar builds various industries: tire manufacture, artificial intelligence and high-end equipment, and waste tire recycling. Among them, the turnover of PCR tires and overseas turnover rank first in the Chinese tire industry, and the scale of waste tire recycling ranks first in the world. The start of construction of the "Hadj Larbi Industry" tire factory has further deepened the the partnership between Doublestar and Sarl Hadj Larbi, become a new highlight to the economic and trade cooperation between China and Algeria, and injected new vitality into the development of the global tire industry.
